Placing an order:

We hope you will find it easy to place your organic clothes & ethical gifts order on our secure website here at Uni and Jack, but if you have any problems or questions at all, please get in touch either with using our contact form or via our Facebook page. We aim to respond within 2 hours between 9 am and 5 pm Monday to Friday (UK time!) and sometimes outside office hours too if you are lucky – if you would prefer to speak to a human being please email your phone number and we will call you back.

Discount codes:

From time to time we offer discount codes to our customers. To keep up to date with offers, sign up to our newsletter or Like Us on Facebook.

NEW CUSTOMER code – CROESO – gives 10% off everything except NEW season collections for the first 6 weeks due to ethical brand rules that ensure fair trade for everyone down the chain from farmer to retailer. Code CROESO will boost the discount on SALE items and past season stock for some guilt free bargain hunting!

Loyalty DISCOUNT codes will not work against new SEASON collections to ensure that all workers in the manufacturing and retail chain are fairly paid and the clothes are made in ways that don’t cost the EARTH – YIPPEE and thank you! Everyone loves a GUILT free bargain and codes can be used on past season garments and to boost the sale rails discounts.

Ireland, Europe and International:

**Sorry** Due to BREXIT I have sadly suspended International orders. Unfortunately BREXIT has made it uneconomical for us to send parcels to Europe due to an increase of processing requirements, shipping price increases and the additional costs to consumers for processing VAT and customs charges on receipt of your parcels. We will periodically review this policy as circumstances change.

Additionally we are no longer permitted to sell Maxomorra into the USA and Canada and so, as this was one of the main brands ordered, and combined with increased shipping costs and recently unreliable services, as a small business it no longer makes sense to provide this service. We have very much enjoyed having International customers and will monitor the situation incase services can be reinstated in the future.

Whilst these changes have been forced upon us by different factors, as an ethical business we can see that the climate crisis should also be taken into account and so stopping our International shipments may be a positive change for that reason.

Speedy Service:

Christmas posting dates –  our last posting days are based on the Royal Mail dates here … For December all post will be sent first class, with no upgrade charge, so our last order date is Tuesday 19th December 2023. In most parts of the country, first class is working well and so you should receive post within a few days of your purchase (sent out Monday – Friday) but Christmas post can be unpredictable so please allow a couple of extra days for parcels to arrive! We will post parcels up to Thursday 21st before our Christmas close down and we will then post parcels first class from Monday 8th January on our return. Thank you for your patience!

If you live in the UK our aim is to deliver your goods to your door within 7 days or sooner of receiving your order (though strikes have made this a bit more hit and miss, so please continue to be patient – my customers have all been fabulous actually, so thank you). Please note our normal despatch days are Monday – Friday. Orders received on Friday afternoon UK-time will usually be posted on Monday morning.

If all your items are in stock, we should be able to do this … sometimes there are unavoidable delays (like strikes, the postpeople having a bad day, we’re rushed off our feet because it is the sale season or new collection launch, etc) so please allow for 10 days. We promise to keep in touch if there are any problems that we know about.

If you need your clothes in a hurry we have express next day shipping on orders made before noon Monday-Thursday or get in touch and we will help if we can!

International returns

Uni & Jack accept no fault returns from International customers at the customer’s cost. We are happy to help with pre-order sizing questions etc.

Please post returns to Uni & Jack, The Granary, Ty’n Y Llidiart, Llandegla, Wrexham, Denbighshire, LL11 3AF and clearly mark your return parcels ‘British Return Goods’ with a domestic sale value of £1.00, as your returned items are not applicable for duty once they reach the UK – this will prevent them being held up at customs.

We advise sending your goods back via a tracked service and retaining proof of postage until you receive your refund notification.

 

Refunds and returns:

We aim to send you a perfect Uni and Jack order, but just in case you want to return something, here’s what to do:

Please keep the labels on when trying things out for size. For hygiene reasons please try things on over existing pants – nobody wants to receive any underwear that has been in touch with another behind – yuck!

Get in touch with us and see if there is anything we can do to help. You can get in touch either with using our contact form or via the “speak to me” tab to the right of the screen.

We will offer you a full refund or free exchange, sent free of charge, if you are not happy with any item … you choose! Please return any unwanted item within 21 days, with all labels attached and in the same un-used condition as received by you. We will be unable to offer refunds or exchanges for items not in this condition. If you think we can help with an issue, or to reserve an item to swap, do feel free to contact us to let us know your items is on its way, otherwise simply package your parcel and pay the postage, pop it into the post and we’ll be in touch on receipt.

We recommend that you get a free certificate of posting at your post office when you send items back to us as we cannot accept liability for loss or damage in transit. We are not able to pay for your return postage costs unless the item is faulty or we have sent the wrong items to you. If either of these things have happened get in touch with us through our contact page or call or text 07908483990 and we’ll be happy to help.

If exchanging for a different item at a higher cost, get in touch to arrange payment of the difference.

Please note that our refunds policy does not affect your statutory rights. By law, customers located in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days after the date the item is delivered.
